This year for prom I have a BRIGHT pink and orange tropically flowered dress. For my hair I want tousled waves and curls...like the ones you get after you've been at the beach all day! But... the makeup is where I become COMPLETELY lost. I have light skin and green-blue eyes. I tried pink eyeshadow...but it makes me look like a lab rabbit!! haha... so if you have ANY ideas at all can you pleze help me!!!

A. Rabbits are cute but not in a prom dress! One of the misconceptions about makeup and clothes is that we always tend to think that we have to match the clothes with the makeup. WRONG! That is soooooo gone away. I would try something that has a hint of sparkle like MAC pigment color is Naked. It’s so subtle but it would compliment your dress and your eyes. Follow that by two coats of mascara and a very very thin line of mascara in chocolate. Your dress sounds like it’s bold enough. Don’t overdue it with a too bold on the face as well.
